Our optimism for snow over the course of the night wasn't quite enough to get the temps to cool down and let the flakes fly. That is okay as we are still slated to see some snow today. Any snowfall that comes today will bond well with the snow already on the ground and depending on how much we get, will make for a really fun day. On the bright side, this means that any fresh lines that were made in the backcountry yesterday are not set in stone just yet as the snow has remained soft overnight. Our groomer planned to get out for early this morning and lay 13 km of skate groomed and set 5 km of classic but because the snow is a touch too sticky for the groomer, he will have to wait until the temps have fallen some in order to work his magic. The wax of the day will be Blue. .
